Fosterer update 11th December
Katara has been with me for a few weeks now and has settled in perfectly although she
can be a little wary around new people but soon comes out of her shell.
Katara loves company and will follow you around the house when she wants some attention.
She enjoys sitting on your knee and having a fuss in particular having her head tickled and
under her chin too, she will stretch out when she wants her belly rubbed.
Katara will tolerate being groomed now but does have a little bite at the brush or comb!
She loves to play with all the cat toys and uses her scratching post well.
Katara is a very pretty girl with gorgeous eyes and is a gentle natured soul, all she
needs in her life now is a forever home where she can get lots of attention and TLC.

Fosterer update 24th November
Katara has been with me for a few days now and has settled in well.
She is a little timid around new people but given encouragement soon
comes round, she is a very gentle natured cat and is large for her age.

Katara has put on weight since weaning her kittens (Sokka and Momo on
the website) and is eating well but does gobble her wet food but this
is to be expected due to where she was found. She does enjoy a bit of
ham or chicken as a treat. She is not overly keen on being groomed but
I am working on this daily to get her used to it.

Katara loves to be with the family in an evening whilst we watch t.v. and will either sit
on your knee, on the sofa next to you or in her cat bed, she also
enjoys playing with her toys and using the scratching post.

Katara is a pretty girl with lovely eyes, her photos do not do her justice; she
must be seen to see how pretty she is. Unfortunately she does not like
other cats and will have to be rehomed with no other cats. If you can
offer her the home she needs please give us a ring and come and see her
she is well worth a visit

Katara

A kind member of public contacted us about seeing a stray kitten as she passed the
race track in a remote part of Buxton.
One of our Trustees contacted the owners of the racetrack and it turned out that
in fact there were 2 kittens and their mother that they had been feeding.
Between them they managed to catch all 3 and take them to our vets.
Katara is the mother of Sokka and Momo.
The cats have been named after characters from the wonderful film Avatar.

Katara has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, has been wormed,
flead, micro-chipped and started vaccinations. Katara has been neutered.

Katara is really quite friendly and affectionate, she enjoys a good fuss
and loves her head scratching!
