So here is Charlie…words cannot describe how absolutely wonderful this little chap is, after all he has been through he has come out the other side a happy loving boy-he is so full of character and charm he really has won us over. Read his sad story here. Charlie has been with his wonderful foster mum all this time, helping him through his recovery. He is a fighter no doubt about it! For a collection so wonderful photos of Charlie click here
Charlie has the most wonderful little traits and he is good with other dogs, his tail goes particularly waggy mad when he meets dogs of his own size, can feel intimidated by big dogs so is much happier with gentle introductions-he had several puncture wounds from a dog attack when he was found. He isn’t exactly partial to cats and small animals though! He will need a home where he’s not left for long, neutering (due shortly) will help but he will have toilet accidents to start with, over time we’ve established this will improve as it has in the foster home, regular walks (he loves this hobby so much!) and trips to the garden will help prevent this. He loves to snuggle up on the sofa; he will also sneak on your bed at any given opportunity! Charlie let’s say has a naughty (but manageable!) side to him; if he doesn’t want to budge he will on occasion tell you in no uncertain terms if you try! He is fully vaccinated and already micro chipped. He needs one more operation shortly to remove the plate in one of his legs as it’s caused an infection for which he’s on strong antibiotics but he can then be adopted once recovered so please do log your interest now.
