Cuba – Cat

5 months
Arrived 8th March 2016
Fostered in Macclesfield

Update 9th March: Cuba is now in a foster home, he is the most playful, affectionate, confident little boy! He will make a super family pet.

Cuba is a fine build black cat, with a hint of a black strip when seen in the sun, with a bizarre dash of an orange spot on his flank. He was immediately friendly from the moment I met him. Vocal little boy, full of beans and energy from the off. Inquisitive and wants cuddles, he’s happy to sit on your neck, shoulder, anywhere he can get close to you, then he purrs which is loud and strong, like a little train engine!  He’s at that age where he uses his mouth a lot to play which will not go down well with very young children but he’s confident and people loving, will make a great addition to a family.

There may be a lot of negative folklore and fiction surrounding black cats, but there’s nothing spooky or unlucky about black cats at all. They have striking beauty and personalities, simply put Black is Beautiful! Cuba sadly was abandoned out in the yard after his owner was taken away at our Majesty’s request. It’s very sad and worrying that no-one thinks about the animals that are left behind to fend for themselves, we didn’t even have a name for this lad so he’s now called Cuba. A friendly and inquisitive youngster he will probably suit most households. He has been neutered, micro chipped and started vaccinations. He’s ready and waiting for you!
