Denzel is a lovely friendly dog who enjoys lots of attention and human company. He loves his walks but can be strong on the lead so a harness would be recommended. We have placed him to go with children 8+ as he can be quite strong and mouthy when he is excited, he is a very friendly lad! It’s reported that he is not good with cats and, whilst he will generally ignore other dogs, he can become reactive if they start barking towards him but overall he’s ok. A pet free home would be ideal. We’ve been told that he was house trained in his previous home and that he loves travelling in the car. Denzel is with us because his owner died suddenly at just 38 years old, his sister found a home with someone however she had concerns about his welfare, he was shut out on a balcony for much of the time and not walked, so she asked us for help. He was very close to his previous owner rescued him from a bad home, they were always together and even shared the bed at night, Denzel must be missing this companionship and would dearly love to find that again. We have had him neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He has had a large low grade tumour removed from his gum along with three teeth, hence the flopping out tongue! How can anyone resist that chunky wrinkly face of his!
