Rocky
came in via an Inspector as the owner was not looking after
him properly; he was kept in a cage that was too small so he
couldn't even stand up or move around and he hadn't been walked
in a long time. Rocky has been wormed/flead, started vaccinations
including Kennel Cough and is micro-chipped and neutered. He
is a healthy fit dog.
Rocky is lovely! He is petite, black with brindle face and legs
and really sweet natured. He has lived with cats and can potentially
be rehomed with a dog. He is not toy or food possessive. He
is actually very good on the lead; he can pull a little but
overall lead trained. He LOVES his toys and he is very affectionate
and likes cuddles and to be close to you.
He does have typical puppy behaviours in that he does jump up and can be a bit grabby with his mouth, he can be quite over bearing with this but just needs kind training, he needs someone who has owned dogs before, someone with time and understanding who is willing to work with Rocky, afterall it's not his fault he's been kept in a cage and not had any guidance, also for this reason he may suffer a little with anxiety in the new home so needs someone around a lot, he'll probably respond well to not being confined
Rocky is a real cutie and is really looking forward to starting
a new life where he'll be loved and not shut away and ignored,
he so deserves to be happy!
