20th June foster update: Ginger is a REALLY friendly little lady, and loves a cuddle. She likes to sit on your lap, and is also really playful. She charges around after her toys and keeps herself amused. She LOVES nothing more than to get a right good fuss-the video is proof of this! She is a different cat since being in a home environment. It really Is time this lovely girl found a home of her own.
Update 10th May: Ginger has just moved to a foster home in Macclesfield. She was a little wary on arrival, but after a few moments spent at ground level and a few Dreamies treats she was coaxed out from her hiding spot. She has eaten well, is purring loads and has enjoyed being brushed with a zoom groom, a soft massage type brush. She has sat on my lap and even groomed me back with some licky kisses, and she has identified the toys with catnip in – she is definitely a catnip fan! All really good progress for her first 6 hours!
Update 6th March: As expected, Ginger has now relaxed and come out of her shell and become much more confident, she was taken to the vets by one of our volunteers for the second vaccination and the feedback was she was really cuddly!
Ginger came in via Inspectors as she was left behind by her owners when they moved out, the landlord contacted the RSPCA for help. She’s a beautiful looking cat; she is a little timid at the moment but it’s to be expected after her stay in the animal hospital and everything she’s had done and various journeys. But we are sure she’ll come out of her shell and turn into a confident little feline. She has been micro chipped, neutered, fiv/felv tested and started vaccinations. At this stage a pet and child free home would be ideal.
