Fostered in Bollington
Six years ago Honey & Beauty came into our care as their alcoholic elderly owner was very poorly and had to go into care, a relatives contacted us for help after he would walk miles every day to see to the cats, there was nowhere for them to go. We found them a new loving home but they have tragically come full circle as their owner sadly died, the daughter took Honey & Beauty into her home but they would not integrate with the other cats, they had to be returned to the deceased owner’s property. So they came back to us for rehoming which we are very grateful for. We are very sad because 19 year old Beauty (also featured In memory of her) had to go to Rainbow Bridge after a while with is, she was quite poorly and despite treatment she deteriorated and it was kinder to let her go. Then Honey escaped from the foster home and was missing for a few days, eventually she landed up in one of our cat traps WHAT A RELIEF!. So, this little lady has been through a lot but she’s now ready to find her new retirement home. Honey has been vaccinated and health checked. She is fit and healthy but she does have hyper thyroidism and is on liquid medication that goes in her food. SPRITELY, INQUISITIVE, CHATTY, FRIENDLY, PLAYFUL, CONFIDENT, AFFECTIONATE, LOVES HER SNOOZES. This lady is just FAB! She has always been a house cat but does seem to want to go out, we feel a pet free home with adults only is best, but with a secure safe garden that she can slowly be introduced to under supervision. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY HER AGE, SHE IS A REAL SURPRISE!
