Maple – Dutch Rabbit

Dutch Rabbit
2 years old
Arrived 17th May
Private boarding in Rode Heath

Maple was transferred from an RSPCA centre in order to be bonded with a soon to be bereaved male rabbit in our care but miraculously his female partner did an unexpected U-turn from being poorly to being fit as a fiddle! So now Maple is looking for her ideal man (neutered of course!) to set up home with. Maple’s a lovely rabbit, very laid back. According to Maple’s carer at the centre she likes the finer things in life and has her own special padded bed that we’d need to send with her. She’s ok at being handled, a little skittish when you go to pick her up but nothing unusual for a rabbit. She’s neutered, vaccinated and micro chipped. She was originally found as a stray, the owner was located but decided to sign her over as they couldn’t afford to keep her.

Housing requirement is a ‘minimum’ sized 6x2x2ft hutch with a minimum ‘attached’ 8x4ft run and freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation. Existing rabbit needs to be vaccinated against RHD1/Myx and RHD2 more information available upon request. We do offer a free bonding service too!

Please watch this video on why we ask for minimum sized hutch/run:
