Boarded at Rode Heath
Max has come into our care because his owners were moving away and couldn’t take him.
Hopefully this time Max will find his forever home. Back in 2016 his sibling died so he’s been all on his own since which is so sad, but now he’ll be looking forward to meeting a (netuered!) new girlfriend to spend the rest of his life with. We had him neutered with post op complications but he’s now in the clear!
A few words from his previous owner:
“He eats rabbit pellets, hay, vegetables (his favourite is kale, a carrot as treat). He is used to an outdoor set up and free ranging and digging. He is a very friendly rabbit and will stand close to people and he will allow people to stroke him sometimes. He comes up to the run when we approach and likes to be talked to. He doesn’t like to be picked up. He isn’t scared of dogs or cats and often chases our cat around the garden 😊 He is a lovely boy and deserves a home where is given much more attention than we can give him.“
Housing requirement is a ‘minimum’ sized 6 x 2 x 2ft hutch with a minimum ‘attached’ 8 x 6ft or 10 x 4ft run, depending on the size of the rabbits, PLUS freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation, or a bespoken set up; exercise space and enrichment is most important!
Existing rabbit needs to be vaccinated with RHD1/Myx and RHD2. We do offer a free bonding service too!
