Max – Rabbit

Black & White Cross
9 Years old approx
Arrived 2nd December
Private boarding, Rode Heath

Max came into our care because the owner landed up in hospital after becoming very poorly. The family contacted us for assistance on rehoming one of the dogs but there were other animals too that needed our help too. The age we were given is a guess by the owners daughter. He’s fit and healthy. He has one blind eye and irregular shaped teeth but the vet said he doesn’t need dental work but to monitor. He has started his vaccinations and will be neutered and micro chipped shortly. He has always lived a very lonely life in a small cage so is nervous. Even at his age we feel he deserves to find a neutered older lady to give him a taste of what life should really be like for a rabbit, he deserves that at least. We do offer a bonding service too. He has not been an outdoor or indoor rabbit as such, he’s been kept in a utility room so finding the right balance with regards to accommodation will be interesting!

Housing requirement is a ‘minimum’ sized 6x2x2ft hutch with a minimum ‘attached’ 8x4ft run plus freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation. Please watch this video on why we ask for minimum sized hutch/run:
