Mickey – Corgi cross

6 yrs aprox
Corgi cross
Arrived 30th December
Private boarding kennels Macclesfield

Mickey along with his 17 year old mother were being kept in the garden 24/7 with rubbish and faeces everywhere, there were a number of small furies as well they were also signed over and removed. His world had been turned upside down after having lost his mother. This was back in 2013 and Mickey was successfully adopted, however he has come back after they had a baby a year ago and he just isn’t happy with a toddler being around, he just wants a quiet life.

Mickey is micro-chipped, neutered and fully vaccinated. Mickey is a really affectionate lad, he loves attention from adults and older teenage children and will try his hardest to get a fuss when new people are around. He does also have a nervous side at times. He isn’t great with other dogs so quiet walks is ideal-he can happily ignore and walk past but if in his face he will have a pop. He LOVES to play ball and good walks so will be suited to someone who can fulfil his requirements.

Mickey will need a home where he’s not left for long as he loves company, we are sure he’ll adapt well in a new home but will need patience and understanding, an experienced rescue dog owner, a child free home with no other pets. It’s heart breaking that he found such a lovely home to only be returned, but it was the right thing to do, he never was the type to be happy around small children due to clearly being abused and living an isolated life.
