Fostered in Wilmslow
Update 4th October, sadly Lulu had to be put to sleep today after losing weight over a short period of time, it was established she had an internal tumour so the vets advised to let her go as there was nothing that could be done. Poppy the bereaved Rex will be pining and desperate for another friend for company so she’ll be looking for a home with a neutered male, we do offer a bonding service.
This gorgeous pair are sisters would you believe (yes one is a Rex and the other is not!).
Poppy and Lulu are lovely bunnies however they are quite nervous, they would suit a more knowledgeable and experienced rabbit owner, Lulu in particular is the most nervous, but their fosterer is working on helping them progress and we just know with the right caring person/s they will start to trust and enjoy human company!
We have had them neutered, micro chipped and started vaccinations. They came in with Don (also available for adoption), the owner contacted us due to not being able to look after 8 rabbits, all in separate cages/hutches there were concerns about how small the housing was.
Housing requirement is a ‘minimum’ sized 6x2x2ft hutch with a minimum ‘attached’ 8x4ft run plus freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation. Please watch this video on why we ask for minimum sized hutch/run:
