Prince
was
signed over to the RSPCA by the owner who was moving and
couldn’t take Prince with her.
We tried to rehome Prince from his owner's home to save
bringing him into kennels
without success so he is now in the kennels and is not a happy boy,
having originally come from a dogs home he’s probably wondering why
he’s back behind bars,
he really doesn’t deserve this.
Prince is neutered, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated.
He is a healthy although slightly over weight.
He is on the larger side of small.
Prince is so friendly
and ever so affectionate,
he loves people and children (having lived with them) although
we'd
rather he be rehomed
with teenagers
As can be seen by the videos Prince is very obedient and willing to
please, he is a very clever dog.
He knows various commands, he is house trained, he’s excellent in
the car and he can be left for a few hours.
He is not destructive or food possessive
he's ok around his toys
but isn't happy at them being taken from him
unless you have something in exchange like another toy or treat.
He likes his
home comforts like the sofa but he was being trained out
of that.
He likes to sleep on the landing at night and was used to the owners
bedroom door being open-
he likes to know he has company, bless!
Prince is energetic and loves his walks and chasing his fave toy the
tennis ball!
He doesn't know how to drop on command but will drop for a treat!
He loves to have bones and sticks to chew on.
He is good on the lead but can pull at first and his recall is good.
He
is not very good with other dogs if they invade his space he’s
likely to give a warning growl,
it’s not a major problem; he can be off lead if the dogs are in
the distance.
He needs to be the only
pet in the home.
A gorgeous little dog all in all-just look at that face!
Poor Prince; with no interest to date it is really dis-heartening,
we know how lovely Prince is, it’s about time someone else found
out!
Hopefully this time round he will find his forever home!
