Rocky – Crossbred Dog

11 years old
Arrived 19th October, 2019
Boarded at Chesterfield RSPCA Animal Centre

Rocky is a friendly lad who is quite stressed in kennels at the moment so please do get in touch about him or share him on line before he really suffers! He loves fuss and will happily spend time being the centre of attention!

He isn’t comfortable with dogs being too close to him and is looking for a home without other dogs and children 10 years plus. We have no history of him living with cats.

Sadly his owner had dementia for some time and he wasn’t walked for several years. His owner went into permanent care and relatives visited him in the property while a solution was found. He was originally from another rescue who would not take him back because of his age so considering the circumstances we took him in.

We have never found rehoming older dogs a problem and we hope Rocky won’t be the exception! Rocky is an older boy who is looking for a quiet, steady home where he can relax and have fun in his senior years! Rocky has been described by relatives as a sofa dog, so a home with a sofa and his name on it is a must!
