Sammy Davis Jr, Dean and Joey
DOB 30th July
Fostered in Macclesfield
Update 5th November: As they’ve been together for a long time now and truly bonded they need to be rehomed together, it would not be right to split them up now. On this premise they would need a much larger cage than previously specified but we can assist with finding one at a bargain!
These adorable baby ratties were born (with 2 other boys (reserved) and 3 girls) in our care by Nigella who was one of the 60-70 rats in extremely poor condition that were dumped in cardboard boxes in Yorkshire. They can all be adopted together or one may be bonded with another very young rat and a pair rehomed together.
They will make perfect first time rat pets. Very friendly and playful and love to interact with you. Just look at those little faces, how adorable!
They will require a sizeable cage (not mesh) with very narrow bars so they cannot escape. Minimum size accommodation is H70 x D48 x W78cm, however, the bigger the better so they can climb and explore. The flooring/shelving that they walk on must be solid (i.e. not mesh) and there must be plenty of enrichment in their cage, e.g. hammocks, climbing ropes/ladders, houses/huts and opportunities to forage for food, also plenty of time in the evenings out of their cage being handled.
If you would like to adopt this trio we will provide further information to you on how the adoption process works.
