Tye
was found in a shed with a severe leg injury where it was half hanging
off,
and
incredibly emaciated, a vet was called out and he was taken in,
while there the leg
fell
off before they could amputate it.
He must have been in agony and suffering immensely.
Our
branch was contacted to assist in the matter. The owner was traced but
didn't
want Tye anymore so signed him over into RSPCA care and went straight
into
a foster home. Tye has been micro chipped,
neutered, wormed/flead and vaccinated.
Tye
had traumatic time back then, he was very depressed,
but with tender loving
care
after a few days he came out of his shell.
He has a very friendly nature and
loves
people, he is good with other dogs,
he's very good friends with the fosterers' mothers
female
dog Little Min who he spends a lot of time with.
He also travels very well and is house trained.
He
loves treats and toys and is very well trained
and knows all basic commands, he particularly
loves
chewing plastic bottles and rawhide!
He
will stand on his one hind leg and cuddle the man of the house!
He
loves to play ball in the garden, he is a lovely dog, whoever adopts
him
will
need to give him time to settle in slowly because he's been through
such a lot,
he
may be quiet for the first few days or so as with his fosterers but he
will soon
come
out of his shell, you'll wonder how you ever lived without him.
He
is completely mobile on 3 legs and is not at all prohibited in what he
can do,
he
has adapted amazingly so please do not let this put you off,
he's as fast as a leopard
when
off lead running! He is very strong on the lead and is walked
on a harness
which helps.
We'd
like a toddler free home as he can be a little lively,
even though he's living with a 2 yr old boy.
He
needs a house with a good size garden,
lots of walks with continued socialising
and above all love
and
a secure and stable future.
Unfortunately,
over 3 months on Tye is still looking for his forever home.
He's
a super dog, lively, confident, fun and bouncy, he'd suit an
active home
where
he's taken for long walks, or even the odd jog, he's full of life!
Can
you give this fun loving dog a forever home?
