** REHOMED **
Male & Female

Private boarding, Rode Heath
Domino & Bobo have come into our care over welfare concerns, along with their sons (there were three but one was rehomed privately) Christian Grey & Jason also available for adoption. A new employee of a residential care home contacted us for help, the rabbits were kept in hutches that were too small, very rarely let out, sometimes not fed or watered. Staff were just not interested. One member of staff suggested dumping them by the motorway. The manager agreed for the RSPCA to take them. The employee started to let them out to run, binky, dig and play for hours, regularly fed and watered while she tried to find somewhere to take them in, nowhere had space at all and due to not being able to say no to these rabbits we have gone over our budget to help them. Thank you to this lovely lady for finding a better life for them!
They were already neutered, we have vaccinated and micro chipped them. Domino is the more confident and Bobo is shy, they are so very close too, Domino is fine being handled and stroked but Bobo needs more a more gentle approach. Bobo does have the common issue with overgrowing incisors, however we hope with a proper diet they will ware down naturally over the next few weeks but if they don’t then they will be removed as she cannot cope with having them trimmed manually-which would need to be done every 6 weeks. Upon arrival her incisors were overgrown so she was rushed to the vets and had a dental and also an xray to ensure there was no hidden issues. Both are healthy buns and will be ready for adoption in a few weeks time, in the meantime please do log your interest!
Housing requirement is a ‘minimum’ sized 6x2x2ft hutch and ideally an ‘attached’ 6x4ft run. Please do not buy until you have checked that housing you are interested in meets the RSPCA’s requirements.
