Horace – Cat

Black and White DSH
6 years old
Arrived 7th September
Fostered in Macclesfield

Horace was found and handed in to a vets who passed him on to RSPCA, He was already microchipped but his previous owner was contacted and she said he disappeared 2 years ago and she had since acquired 2 cats and she did not want to take Horace back. He has been neutered vaccinated. A few words from Horace’s foster Mum:

“I have had Horace for four weeks now and he has now settled in with us. He is a large handsome boy with such lovely soft fur, he simply adores being stroked and purrs loudly, he especially enjoys his chin and belly stroked. He is rather timid to begin with but once he is comfortable around you he will come and sit next to you on the sofa or on your bed. He is very nervy of loud noises especially the bin cart and the hoover, he will take off to a “safe place”. He is very greedy and is ruled by his belly! He is just getting a little playful now and showing signs of slight interest of all the toys that are on offer. He just needs time and patience spent with him for him to feel at ease and safe. We do not know his history just that he was a stray but from my experience fostering cats I can say that he needs a quiet home with older children and adults, he would not suit young primary school age children as he is pretty jumpy at sudden noises and movements. He is very affectionate with you and hasn’t a bad bone in his body. Horace just needs a lovely quiet forever home with understanding cat parents who will let him settle in with them in his time and on his terms. You will be rewarded as he is a truly gentle big boy and would be a perfect addition to your home. His photos really don’t do him justice as he is such a handsome lad please feel free to come and see him you won’t be disappointed.”
