Chesterfield RSPCA animal centre

Jess has come into our care as tragically her owner had died. Jess was with her owner when it happened so she must have felt such loss and is probably wondering why she’s where she is now. But, we’ve established Jess is a really lovely dog who enjoys the company of people. She will happily have cuddles and fuss all day long! Jess is an older girl who would benefit from a quiet, comfortable home. Jess may be able to live with another dog, but would need to be an older, steady dog as we feel a young, energetic dog would be too much for her. We have placed her with children over 10 years and potentially with cats (although we have no history and would need to do some further observation around cats). She does have a couple of ailments that are being treated, she’s got mild Ataxia but this can be managed.
