Mini Lop x Lionhead
Arrived 2nd March
Private boarding Rode Heath
Niffy’s owner contacted us after a broken bond between him and his brother caused them to attack each other and sustaining injuries. They were kept separate but it was very difficult to manage. Each will be bonded with a neutered female as rabbits must not live on their own. Niffy is neutered, micro chipped and fully vaccinated. A few words on Niffy: He shows a lot of interest in humans, for example when I am in the garage cleaning/feeding etc, he will always run over to see what I’m doing. He is a bold rabbit, torments our cat who is frightened of his own shadow. He has never shown aggression towards us including my 5 year old daughter. He is quite a little character and I always say he looks like he could be a secret agent, he looks like he’s plotting something all the time. His nickname is ‘the slipper’ because of his low profile . Originally called Miffy, but this has changed to Niffy as that was the way my daughter pronounced it and it just stuck. Likes hiding in boxes and anywhere that is difficult for a human to catch him. Likes playing with a ball. Used to people being around him and other pets, but not being picked up and he will try to escape.
Housing requirement is a ‘minimum’ sized 6x2x2ft hutch with a minimum ‘attached’ 8x4ft run and freedom to a secure garden/alternative area for stimulation. Existing rabbit needs to be vaccinated against RHD1/Myx and RHD2 imore information available upon request.
