Roxy – Jack Russel Terrier Cross

Female
9 years old
Arrived 30th August, 2019
Boarded at Chesterfield RSPCA Animal Centre

Roxy is a really sweet girl who is very friendly and loves lots of fuss and attention – she’s as cute as a button! She really enjoys the company of people and who suit a home where someone is around most of the time. She rubs along well with other dogs and mainly ignores them.

Roxy came into RSPCA because she was kept in terrible conditions in a hoarder’s property, the RSPCA was contacted by Social Services. She was the only animal in the property. She is on medication for a very bad skin complaint – her skin was very sore and itchy but it is fast improving.

She will need an owner who is able to manage this condition which may involve ongoing treatment in the future and/or giving her a specific diet. She can be rehomed with children over five years.

Here’s to a new start and a new happy life for Roxy!
