Socks – Staffordshire Bull Terrier

January 13th : Socks was adopted a few weeks ago but has come back as the adopter’s mother sadly had a stroke and they feel they can’t take care of Socks.

Socks is a lovely boy who has a real zest for life! He is very friendly but can easily become excitable and boisterous, mind you he is in a kennel!! Socks craves attention and is lots of fun to be with.

Socks was originally kept outside in filthy conditions with no shelter or bed. His owner was an alcoholic sadly and could not give Socks what he needed. He does have an anxious nature and will need an owner who is able to give him the appropriate training and stability he needs to help him settle in his new home.

Socks is looking for an adult only home, he has mixed well with other dogs and can be playful with dogs. He has lived with a female dog in his previous home and could potentially live with another dog of a similar size and nature. He will make a wonderful companion and bring lots of good times!
